Who doesn’t love creative gift wrapping ideas? For this how-to video, I was inspired by the new book Living with Flowers: Blooms & Bouquets for the Home, by floral designer Rowan Blossom (Laurence King, 2019). When guests come to stay at Blossom’s London home, they find a special treat in their room—a lovely gift-wrapped box of chocolates with fresh flowers tucked into the bow.
You can use this fun gift-wrapping idea for Mother’s Day, a bridal shower, or your best friend’s birthday. All you need is beautiful wrapping paper, an assortment of fresh blooms, and ribbon. I found sheets of fine paper at Paper Source and chose large peonies, gloriosa lilies, and scabiosa for my flowers. The satin ribbon came from my craft box; I like to keep and reuse ribbon from past gifts.
This easy project adds the perfect floral touch to any gift. Plus, the recipient gets to keep the flowers and can create a sweet petite bouquet.
