In an excerpt from her book, Color Me Floral, Kiana Underwood of Tulipina Design shares her inspiration and step-by-step instructions for a gorgeous, old-world style arrangement in green and pink.
Between the walnut tree growing down the street from me and all the beautiful ‘Limelight’ hydrangeas and green zinnias, summer proved to be quite lush in providing green flowers and foliage. These gorgeous spray roses (multiple small blooms per stem) added interest with their central touch of blush. The special vessel I used for this arrangement is from a dear friend from Moscow, Liza Ambrasovskaya; I think it is a perfect complement to all the colors I chose. Since it is a rather tall vase, I made sure to arrange the ingredients so the branches droop gracefully.
